Gravity is the keyword in the work of conductor Lucas Vis.
The natural effect of gravity, intuitively recognized by everybody, is the main principle in his idea about music making: the idea of falling,
bouncing, dangling helps the musicians feel the movement in the music.
Lucas Vis has been conducting for over forty years. In his cottage in Olland, far away from the orchestra, he plays with gravity.
